- Nice Polaris seat with pillow and gray blanket (not duvet, but not the blue threadbare one)
- Breakfast choice of either egg whites or French Toast. Both served with fresh fruit, a roll and cookie.
- Drink service, both alcohol and non throughout the fight
- Snack basket put out about 1 hour after meal service. Truly just snacks like Stoopwaffels, pretzels, Biscotti.
- Personally the food is a little light for a 9 hour flight. If time allows, a stop in the UC (if you are a member, not included as part of your FC class ticket) might be a good idea. "Somehow" a couple of bagels and a banana ended up in my carry on and they were the perfect compliment to breakfast.
- Seatback A/V library is pretty extensive.
Overall, a nice experience on the reconfigured 788.
Side note; no guarantees but if you're connecting in Chicago and running tight on your connection, don't lose your mind. They have held this flight at least 6 times this month for late connecting passengers. With light headwinds this month, even a 30 minute delay gets you in on time. Enjoy!

Thanks! I’m not a club member but I think I have a few free passes from the credit card. Probably as good a time as any to use them.

You are welcome. Quick note on the day passes; the UC near C16 was not accepting passes due to over crowding. The UC's near B6 & B18 were accepting passes last week.

Channel 9 on , but the signal quality is so bad I cant make out a word of it .
Return flight -- OGG-SFO on Polarized 767.

Lunch choices: (1) chicken katsu with white rice, or (2) pineapple fried rice.

No amenity kit.

Thinner gray Polaris blanket, but no pillows.

Filthy plane, with trash (plastic wrappers, crumbs, etc.) left behind in all four of our first class seats.

Is there amenity Kit in EWR-OGG flight? If so, what is included?

We'll be travelling from EWR-OGG soon. Does United provide amenity kit for First class passengers on the EWR-OGG 767 flight? If so, what are included?

probably nothing because this is a domestic FC route, not premium transcon or long-haul international Polaris, although Polaris seats are employed.
Sorry.

UA219 ORD-HNL and UA67 KOA - ORD questions

I'm flying First Class Aug 16 and Aug 26.

Outbound question: Does UA have Hawaii Pre-Clear at ORD?

Inbound question: Itinerary says no meals for the 8 hour flight...really?!

General question: Should I set expectations to barebones product and service?

Thanks

UA has Hawaii pre-clear at all hubs.

You will have a meal (though don't expect anything special).

It's a regular domestic F flight so expect as much, and generally speaking keeping your expectations low for UA is the right answer.

Good to hear UA has Hawaii pre-clear at all hubs. And thanks for the confirmation on the other two questions. Wanted to fly nonstop so no other choices.

Just flew UA67. Dinner was served right after takeoff and then nothing else the rest of the flight.

Snacks are available on HNL-ORD after dinner. And while I was surprised no breakfast (which was fine by me - you land 6:15am) I pleasantly surprised to get an extra hour of sleep as I woke up on approach to ORD

Do you recall what the choices were for dinner? Well be on this flight next week.

It's been chicken katsu or pineapple fried rice. Might change with new month for you though.

ORD -> OGG food selection

I have a flight from ORD-OGG (Maui) early next week. I will be flying first class. I can't tell from the United website whether food can be pre-selected for the flight, and if so, how can I do so. I keep logging into the reservation and I don't see how/where to do so. Let me know if you know what the process is for selecting food and what they're serving.
