Just flew into IAD from EWR.
EWR - busy, IAD - ghost town
Maybe people are postponing their flights ahead of weather.
Lots of open seatings to lie down before my next flight.

Been walking around C/D gates after a hearty lunch, and there must be a ratio of 10-25 airport/airline personnel (or more) to every passenger. It is sad the only large bank hours for departures seem to be early evenings. My flight is mid-afternoon.

I'm surprised this doesn't include Saturday the 13th. I have a flight that day - hope I can get out to Dulles!
Here's from the National Weather Service for Washington DC area: "Winter Storm Watch from SAT 7:00 AM EST until SUN 7:00 AM EST....IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible."

A new mid-Atlantic waiver has been posted for this weekend Feb 13-14, 2021 DELee
Traveling through PHL. Forecast doesn't look bad at all. Should be at 50K+ BIS (all domestic flights although not all on UA) assuming no wx.
