Any 1K get 2021 Plus Points Deposited?

We usually see our GPU (now Plus Points) deposited on February 1st. I logged on and didn’t see any 2021 deposits. I saw my unused 2020 Plus Points carried over. Did UAL stop this? I don’t recall seeing any announcements on new 2021 deposits. Only saw the announcement the unused 2020 would be extended further into 2021.

Did you re-qualify for 2021 1K status during 2020? If not, you do not see fresh Pluspoints deposit. Extension of 1K status does not offer new Pluspoints unless you are a 1K/GS/Plat. MM.

I got mine in December, but of course that was when I surpassed the 9000 PQP threshold to qualify for 2021. From what I recall, United doesn't deposit GPU/PlusPoints on Feb 1st, only after qualification (with exception to million milers). If your status was was simply extended, then you don't get the points.

I wonder how many Plats and 1Ks who didn't qualify by PQP/PQSs last year are going to be disappointed to find this out....

Only if you qualified solely by 2 Million Miler (Lifetime Plat) or 3 Million Miler (Lifetime 1K) status, otherwise you get them during the year when you clear the PQM/PQS hurdles. Are you a 3 Million Miler?

MMers get the PlusPoints around January 15 each year if they do not re-quality for a same/higher status on year-to-year basis. February 1 deposit occurred after CO/UA merge. I do not remember the exact years that this happened.

I got my 40 PlusPoints a few weeks ago for being 2MM. Now how to use them and the others given the lack of travel right now...

I presume that was around the date you hit 9k or 12k PQP?

I'm not disappointed I don't get another batch when I didn't fly after 1Q20.

I will be disappointed to see them evaporate on 1/31/21 without a realistic opportunity to use them over a two-year period.*

*Yes, I know it's still early in the year, but I don't see a realistic return to international travel until 2H21 at the absolute earliest.

I think it may have been hitting the PQF after 9k but since I closed out 2020 above both 12k and PQF thresholds that detail is a bit lost without digging into a spreadsheet
