For general travel info and inflight masking, see https://www.united.com/ual/en/us/fly...tions-map.html , not a list but specific route masking information. Of course understanding things are dynamic and hard for any site to stay up-to-date.

This morning at IAD... flight departing to YUL from same A gate as mine. Gate agent twice announced that a mask must be worn at all times on the YUL flight.

Where can you find an updated list of international routes/countries which require a mask during flight?

I'm flying SFO to FRA next week and am hoping that masks are not required since they aren't mandatory in FRA. Anyone know for sure?

Try https://www.united.com/ual/en/us/fly...tions-map.html , not a list but has masking information. Of course understanding things are dynamic and hard for any site to stay up-to-date.

For FRA, appears in-flight masks are required by Germany per the above site. But not on the return

But your screenshot states that masks are mandatory "during the entire flight to and from Germany." (emphasis added)

While not Germany, I flew back PPT-SFO last week. French Polynesia requires masks in the airport and for all inbound flights. For the PPT-SFO segment, the Captain said masks were required to be worn until after takeoff.

Masks on flights to JNB

Does anyone know if masks are required on the flight to JNB. The UA website for entry to SA is a bit vague on this as it pertains to onboard the aircraft. It says all passengers must wear masks unless age or medically exempt. However, when you look at the advice for Germany flights the language is very direct as to what is expected and has a separate section for aboard the aircraft. The SA advice does not have the same layout.

Has anyone been on this flight in the last week?

Thanks!

Have you looked at this UA site, https://www.united.com/ual/en/us/fly...tions-map.html ?
Does not appear to be vague

Is it being enforced currently on United flights? Seems odd to wear them on the plane but not in the airport upon arrival.

On the outbound EWR-MUC UA flight last week, mandatory mask requirement announcement was made at the gate. No announcement was made onboard. Half the flight crew was not mask. Most of the passengers were not mask. On the return UA flight, no mask announcement was made at the gate nor onboard. Most of the crew and passengers were not mask.

On the other hand, mask announcement was made and enforced onboard the Germany domestic flights on LH.
