JFK-LAX yesterday had choice of spinach & red pepper quiche or French toast. I had the quiche and it was actually quite good. Served with sausages, fruit cup & yogurt.

Went with the ravioli since I still cannot forget a horrid chicken with polenta dish that I got on a premium transcon flight several years ago.
Ravioli was just ok, which is better than I can say for the rest of the offerings on the tray.
Finally, how much longer do we have to put up with Mango sorbet on these routes? I can't believe it's lasted as long as it has.

There are few things better in life than mango sorbet atop a sumptuous, chilled Dole™ fruit cup. 💚 🎶
A flat wooden "spoon" truly accentuates the flavors — and is good for the environment. I love The Friendly Skies!

JFK-SFO last week on the late flight had chicken with polenta, or ravioli...I think it was the butternut squash one.

Still can't wait until they bring back the sundae, though.
Alas, the mango sorbet has a tiny plastic spoon. Hence why I use the proper spoon included in the rollup.

On my last SFO-EWR premium transcon in business, the french toast breakfast was literally just four toast corners (no sides like eggs, potatoes, etc). The other option was the quiche which I didn't get a good look at.

The burrata one I thought was really good. I liked it better than the butternut squash one.
I typically do as well. But on that last flight, they didn't serve the sorbet with the meal. They handed them out after they cleared the table. So all I had was the plastic spoon at that point.
At first I thought it was just interesting, kind of a novelty, that may have been appropriate for a month or two, but has long since worn off its welcome. By now, I've grown to despise it, and couldn't even finish the last one even though I was still hungry.
