Did OP happen to make any award redemptions on the 23rd? For domestic FF awards, all taxes and fees are waived with the exception of the $5.60 TSA fee. As others have already noted, the $8.99 charge is almost certainly not for PFC fees. The $11.20 charge and refund could be explained by a roundtrip award that was subsequently cancelled.

OK did as suggested and checked the ticket numbers associated with the charges (sorry it took a while, in Vegas with family over xmas & new years). From the 3 charges I mentioned above, the $5.60 charge was the same ticket number, however the $8.99 fee from that flight only was for internet I had purchased on a flight 3 weeks prior. Why it waited until then to charge, I have no idea.
I was going to call today, but I woke up to the following email in my inbox....very strange they automatically reversed all these charges so EITHER it was an end-of-year accounting thing OR they have people looking at these forums and someone did some research, because I have not yet contacted them!!!!
