The more intermediate points that are available, the better. It'll depend on where UA can connect with AC.

Best routing used to be DL to JFK and CX F/J onward to YVR. RIP

So how will the crews and aircraft go? For something like MKE-RSW, will the aircraft fly ORD-MKE-RSW-MKE-ORD? Obviously for places like TPA or MCO there’s greater hub connectivity.

One step closer to my dream of a UA scissor hub at BOS.

(let me dream my dream, thanks!)

There always seems to be steady demand from CLE to Florida, especially in the winter. UA cut many flights after dehubbing and has been bringing them back. Although Spirit and Jet Blue have Florida routes as well. Now if only they'll bring back CLE-LGA...

Would that make BOS well spoken?

I think this is a smart move. While Florida is one of the problem spots, it appears that people still want to go there. Since it is clear the problem isn't going away until a vaccine is available to all, and people have decided they still want to fly for leisure. UA avoiding FL isn't going to do much good. Also, if UA doesn't bring the people there, they will find another way to get there if they really want to go.

I like this. With what’s going on need to spread people out using more airports for point to point service by passing hubs.Maybe tag on flights too.

I believe Air Canada flies to most, if not all, of the northern cities on that map. However, none of them have nonstops to YVR. I don’t know that an extra SkyRegional flight to YYZ is really all that exciting, but to each their own.

45 UA flights today departing MCO

.
Clearly, incorrect. Today, for example, UA has 45 flights departing from MCO:

Terminal:B
Security Checkpoint:1-59
Gates: 1-59 Curbside Check-In: 30-59

What is your def'n of a "footprint"?

Where are the LGA slots coming from? Picking random weekdays in November, it looks like LGA-ORD is still running hourly.

I'm quite certain that will change as the November schedule is uploaded.

As a Floridian, I agree. Stay home. We had a spike, in part, because everyone flocked to FL. We don't want your tourist dollars right now.

This is a reckless move by United to try and extract revenue and the expense of public health.

Comparing this to AA, DL, and B6's footprints in FL, not to mention WN, NK, and F9, I think it's safe to say UA has one of the smallest operations statewide.
