Someone ought to let Mr. Kirby know and he'll rectify this practice in no time

It'll be interesting to see what UA does here, it seems tone deaf to not extend at this point, but no one here would be surprised by that either.
Exciting last day of June! (Better than doing my taxes!)

None of those are for UA.

BlueZebra: I too checked a few times at different locations on ua.com - didn't find any update to July 31: can you post a link to this revised date?

So would I be cynical to suggest that United is waiting until tonight or tomorrow to announce extending free changes for new bookings, gambling that more people will feel rushed to go ahead and book their winter travel today (pulling new cash into the system) to get the free change?

I am also seeing July 31 now. I think they just extended it. I had a called a few days ago and the CSR told me United may be extending the June 30 deadline for the change fee waiver.

I just booked a ticket and saw this on the confirmation:

Thank you for choosing United

For everyone's safety, United travelers are required to wear a face covering during their entire flight. Travelers not wearing their face coverings on board could lose their travel privileges on future United flights. Some travelers are exempt. United representatives will have masks available for those who need one. Learn moreabout face covering policy (opens in new window/tab)

You have flexibility to change your flight

Remember, there are no change fees for flights booked by July 31, 2020. Learn more about change fee (opens in new window)
A confirmation email has been sent to:
