Is EWR-ANC ever available on miles in J?

With international summer trips likely canceled, looking to stay domestically.
EWR-ANC has wide open availability in Y, nothing in J for any dates.
Is this a route that gets any opening at all, or is history not a guide any more in this environment?

You're talking (historically called) saver space? Very rare.

Dont get your hopes up about this route (EWR-ANC) actually operating this summer. Id love to see it but I am not optimistic.

It's wide open in July, every single day for 100k miles each way.

I read somewhere that United filed for relief to delay Alaska service until July 6th? Not sure if there's an update.

Have not seen any reports on the status of the earlier or this later request

Don't be surprised if you get schedule changed onto EWR-DEN-ANC during (likely) this weekend's schedule upload.

Totally called it ... However Alaska still has the strict quarantine measures in place so I am doubtful tourists will be allowed to go this summer.
