Does anybody know of a timeline that at least some basics, like ice, and mixed drinks will return? UA clubs? I want to travel, but they need to make it more palatable. Its bad enough on it's own, but they have to add something more. I curious about transcon premium, and regular domestic F.

More downgrades > no lie-flats:
6/12: EWR-LAX UA 675 B753
6/13: LAX-EWR UA 2304 B753; UA 1671 B738
6/13: EWR-LAX UA 410 B738
One highlight: UA 1165 LAX-EWR last night (6/11) was upgraded from regular 763 to a new Polaris 76L/High J.

Wonder what the cause of all these downgrades is. They're not all upgauges to 753s for more capacity. Are one or more 752s out of service, or does UA just not care much about dedicating flat beds to PS routes right now?

UA does not care. They clearly have more than enough around ...

I'm shocked! Shocked I say. Monday's (06/15) 1165 is listed as a 76L and ALL of the C seats are gone!

Exactly, their number one priority right now is saving money and they will stretching the "for your safety" excuse as far as they can to help cover for the cuts. They're probably just pulling from their backlog of frozen Y meals.

They want ppl to fly, but not creating a better experience. You can't have it both ways. Very disappointed esp on such a lucrative route.

UA 1165/Jun 15 now shows 16/46 booked + 16 blocked; "9" across all business booking classes J9>P9.
UA reservations is offering flight # 1671 LAX-EWR for sale on a B752.
Meanwhile, UA 1671 on flight status shows operating as a B753.

Thanks for the update, of course I booked on the next flight on Tuesday. I'm going to hold out until Monday afternoon before changing.

AA has maintained 100% lie-flat service, and I believe DL as well.

UA1871 - EWR -> LAX
6:30PM - Dinner
I went in with low expectations for dinner, but apparently not low enough as it was lesser quality than I expected. Cheese ravioli with cream sauce for the entree and the rest of the tray was exactly as presented by the crew. Ravioli wasn't great, but edible. No bread, but packaged crackers provided with butter . No dessert unless you count the economy Oreo thins, which were sadly the highlight of the meal.
United should be embarrassed to associate a meal like this with words like Premium Transcontinental, Premium Cabin and Dinner. On the plus side the amenity kit, Polaris pillow and blanket were provided and the purser who worked my section was attentive and friendly.
