There is nothing any of us can do to change the outcome, so it will be what it will be. What is said on FT will not change that.

of course, always had a curious mind that's all. In any case also we've not had much on IAH so intend to get a status update on that when I'm there in a couple of weeks on the way in and out from different people, hopefully, there's a matching consensus.

Saw United's tweet about added LHR service, so replied back asking about the United Club and Arrival Lounge.
United replied that LHR United Club will be open by the end of the year.

Didn't say anything about the Arrivals Lounge...

Very, very true. I'm just going to be bitter if I'm stuck in the UC in ORD during my 8 hour layover from HI to EU on Dec 8.. :-( I at least want a shower en-route. That's for the benefit of everyone.

SFO Polaris Lounge scheduled to open 'early next year' per the last paragraph of yesterday's SF Business Times article: "However, there is one other bit of good news for Bay Area United customers. The airline said its Polaris lounge at SFO is scheduled to reopen by early next year."

I'll take it. 12/18 flight via EWR. Else I'll take my free change option and fly via IAD! I sure hope they are not pushing this into 2022

SNA UC main stuff on this excessively early morning start. They’ll bring out one hot item around 7am onwards.

The only thing healthy there is the fruit. I'm pretty sure those bagels will be good in 10 years when the PL's finally open.. hehe

Bear in mind I don't think there is any other airport this small that UA has a club at. So I'm not expecting a grand selection like LAX, but the options are decent for what it is. They bring out a hot item or 2 like I showed last time at around 7 am, and lunchtime items have more variety and fresh options. Also the bar is full and functional like any other UA club.

I took the fresh fruit to eat on board to keep myself awake and it tasted quite nice and fresh, very enjoyable. Maybe you should give that HNL-SNA flight a shot, connect our two bases and see how you feel about the club and airport

I have no issues with the food at SNA - and it is a huge upgrade from pre-covid.

I'll skip SNA though - I'll stick with my lie flats.

Currently sitting in the SFO Rotunda UC, lounge attendant just came wheeling by with meatballs on a cart! These weren’t on the buffet, and are pretty tasty!
