UA won't say. I can't say how many times I've pressed them for specifics and they remain tight-lipped. Even on the 10/19 media preview of the IAD PL the official word was still that the lounge would open "soon" (no date - though I was able to confirm from three workers it was opening on 10/21). Not sure why UA does it this way other than to guard expectations against unforeseen delays.
Was told by ORD B6 bartender yesterday that ORD Polaris Club won’t be open until March. Not sure how true this is, but just passing on what I heard. She said they were having lots of staffing issues. One bartender in B6 with a 5-10 person line (bartender was doing his best), from 3-5pm.

The bartender I spoke to in B6 told me December 15th was their target date. Coincidentally, an agent doing check-in at EWR told me that was their target date as well. So while they are technically opening in Q4, it's so late in the year they may as well have pushed it back to Q1'22 and not have gotten everyone's hopes up.

Although "skyrocket" may be a bit optimistic, many businesses are still holding off international until Q1 at the earliest.
