I was wondering a week ago, why you could buy a drink at some place by the gates, to be consumed in any spot of the waiting area.
So, you could fetch a drink at the bar in club and then proceed to a seating area inside the club to enjoy!

Currently in ORD club. Maybe 5 people here. Terminal b is ghost town. Slightly better snack selection than at EWR yesterday. Will be checking out IAD Tomorrow. On a side note, yesterday on 777300 EWR ORD full bar predeparte drinks offered along with bottled water.

Slightly OT - Talked to ORD gate agent a couple days ago, she said there is a small 7am bank, a big 9am bank, a big 2pm bank, a big 6-ishpm bank, and a small 8pm bank of flights. Guessing you're there during the slow time. She also added, UA had originally hoped to add more flights for August, but with demand going back down again doubts they will.
