I spoke with the UC desk ladies at Las Vegas yesterday and they said that by Mid-August their hours would be back to normal. They said that the reason for limited hours is not a staffing issue. The reason is that United does not have enough redeye flights out of Las Vegas yet.

Have not seen any
There are a few UCs whose future status that are unclear -- such as SFO G, SFO mezzanine, other pre-COVID EWR, ...
There were 45 UCs preCOVID and UA has only discussed 42 (the above 3 are missing)

Which, of course, they can argue is never. They were good when they lasted but I would not take for granted they they will certainly return. The world is a bit different now and they may no longer be able to populate those polaris cabins with sufficient high paying business passengers on J, D and C fares who fund or justify the incremental costs of the lounge.

Thx. That’s a shame. No other options in EWR terminal C other than the terrible United Club. Guess I will just arrive at the last possible minute again.

But right now SFO *A pax have to go pretty far. And even when Polaris reopens, there's still quite a few *G pax, as well as flights that are ineligible for Polaris. It would be odd to not open it ever.
