Surprised nobody has posted this yet.

Oreo Thins are going mile high.

United Airlines announced on Friday that they will be serving the brand new option on all United and United Express flights as an on-board snack, replacing Biscoff cookies.

"Our complimentary snack options continue to be a hit and we’re always looking for opportunities to introduce new selections," spokesperson Andrea Hiller confirmed to USA TODAY. "We plan to add Oreo Thins into the mix soon and look forward to the response from our customers."

MatthewLAX had posted it on his blog. Kind of indifferent - stroopwafel or bust for me!

I'd really prefer to see something a little less carb/sugar-heavy in the comp snack selection... IMO it's a step in the wrong direction.

In an ideal world I would like to see a slightly differentiated E+ snack selection (maybe with some fresh items like bananas) but I would not be willing to trade what we have now for the DL C+ model.

I do like that they're Oreo thins instead of regular oreos. As much as I love the original, this is marginally better for you (i.e., not as bad) at only 140 calories per pack. They also make less of a mess.

Oreos must have bid out at .5 cents less per package.....

Definitely a downgrade.

Eh, I don't doubt you are correct about the $0.005, but I very much prefer Oreos to Biscoff.

Anyway, that is moot, since I am also team stroopwafel.

Why not offer both? It's really not that hard to put a bunch of different items in a basket and let everyone pick one.

But will they board more milk now as a result?

Between Stroopwaffel and now Oreo oh my what great choices. And I also really like Biscoff. That should be the basket **** pretzels

Someone above mentioned bananas. Does UA not provide bananas in the snack basket? I thought bananas were present in the snack basket of the big three. I know for sure they are available on DL and remember reading at one time in the past a post in the AA forum mentioning bananas.

For first class, I've seen it there regularly. For economy on United? Never. Can't speak for other airlines though.

Delta might offer them in Comfort+, but I honestly don't remember. None of the big three offer them in regular Y.

DL, AA, and AS will continue to offer Biscoff cookies.

B6 has chocolate chip cookies. That said, I used to barter the blue potato chips for Biscoff cookies with my Delta employee friends.

Vegans should keep in mind that Oreos list milk as a cross-contact.
