Believe youíve listed 4/5 flights that havenít been canceled. Will most likely be similar for 4/6? 4/6 flights ex EWR are still showing full sked - 6x to ORD etc. Ex LGA flights already reflecting reduced sked for 4/6. Doesnít seem to have been done for EWR yet.

Not unusual depending on the change and the original ticket. Use the normal search engine, find what you want and call to make the change.

thanks for the tip, was hoping to avoid the long call centre wait times but seems unavoidable..!

Booked on UA29 (SFO-SIN) on May 27. Reservation is still active.

Expertflyer shows zero availability for all fare codes, and UA isn't selling tickets for this flight anymore. About 20% of seats are taken on the seat map, however.

I think this means that they're maybe or maybe not canceling this flight, and I should just wait - does that sound right? Or does this sound like a definite cancelation, but since it's so far off they haven't gotten around to it yet?

(My goal would to be to cancel with a refund, as I'll probably be returning to work around May 15, and taking a vacation 12 days later would be frowned upon - so I'm not looking to proactively try to rebook something on NH or SQ, for example.)

I asked them on Twitter today about UA9 (SFO-CTU) which has been zeroed out but not cancelled yet. Their reply: Our May schedule is still being finalized.

I would say that they're still evaluating it; that flight's not for almost 2 months and it seems foolhardy to try to project what the world may look like then. There's nothing to be gained if you cancel now. Let it be and see what happens. You can cancel the morning of the flight if UA hasn't already done so.

This is how I'd look at it as well.

EWR

Just heard UA cancelling all express flights out of EWR and mainline will only operating 15 flights a day.
Can anyone confirm this. Came from a crew site. Seems very drastic.

Yes -- multiple confirmations, will move to the the Suspensions thread where the discussion has been ongoing

Anecdotal reports for the past few days of widespread cancelations, first definitive reports about 40 posts back.

Why. The city has world class hospitals and medical facilities.
