united saver availability and baggage allowance on them

united saver availability and baggage allowance on them

how far out does united release saver availabilty on reward ticket for partners(specially air india or just for united)?
and do they dont have any baggage allowance ?
read uniteds site it , it says you have to pay for checked bags , just wanted to confirm

This will get added into the huge thread that already exists on when Saver Awards become available. The answer is...it varies.

I have never heard of any baggage rules that are different from paid fares. Have flown on a number of Save awards. The baggage rules have always been the same as a paid fare in that class of seat.

There is no simple answer but the basic answer is the partners decide when they want to release the inventory, not UA.
UA Saver Award/Upgrade Inventory (& partners)-when is it released? Ever any business?

As a generic answer, award flights have the same baggage allowance as a "standard" cash economy ticket. While some deep discount economy tickets may have restricted bag allowance, those restricted allowances do not presently apply to an award ticket. Economy bag allowance varies by carrier, route, who you check-in with, ... so there is no simple answer.
