Thank you. Really appreciate it. Yes, I know i'm in for a long day. Fortunately I turn around a couple days later and fly to Phoenix for vacation.
I cleared a CPU on that flight last month during my mileage run. I received a choice of a cobb salad or a roast beef wrap.

Not that I particularly care for a wrap on an E75, but hey, good to know for the future.

ANd others got more food? There are many E75 routes with only snacks --- depending on the length and time of say.

SEA to LAX is one of the easiest to clear in my experience. I have been upgraded T>24 on AS, DL, UA.

The UAX-served SEA-LAX should be serving wrap or salad. I think it is double-catered, though, based on the turn duration, so maybe something happened on the inbound if no one actually got the meal-'snack'.

Award ticket changed; new receipt: UA website receipt shows old itinerary
I changed an existing reservation from ROC - ORD (UA), ORD - YYZ (AC), YYZ-DUB (EI), DUB -GLA (EI) to this: ROC-ORD (UA), ORD - FRA (UA), FRA-EDI (LH). The change processed on the website, I selected seats on all segments, and I was emailed a new receipt,
When I look at the receipt on the UA website, it shows the old itinerary and both the EI and FRA confirmation numbers. Do I need to be concerned that the old information is still showing on the receipt.

No; the show receipt function is frequently a reissue or three behind. Sometimes if you re-send it via email it fixes itself.

Hi, I am looking to book an award ticket for a trip SEA-TYO around mid-March. Ideally I'd like to take NH 177 (c/o as UA 7929) but I can't seem to get the search to return this flight. In fact, I can't even find this flight as a paid flight. When I search for it on ANA's web site there are plenty of availability though. I am wondering if this is something that is a temporary issue, or if UA can't sell some of NH's inventory? Thanks!

The best that you can do is keep checking. (Note that if the flight does appear as an award, it’ll be with the NH code. There are no codeshares on award flights.

As for paid flights, UA does not provide access to all partner flights, it does have a preference for codeshares on those partners. Sometimes you can call and get uA to book or use tools like Google Flights or ITA Matrix to force those flights on UA tickets.
For March 8, I did see UA 7929 as a cash flight

The inbound was several hours delayed due to crew timing out at SFO, if I remember correctly. I'm not too miffed over missing out on a wrap. Ended up walking over to T6 and getting some salad at the AC lounge.

1K and GS are prioritized. Otherwise status doesn't matter.

Nah, doesn't bother me much. If it were a 5-hour TCON, yeah I might write in. As it stands, I was mostly curious (in case of the astronomical chance I ever get upgraded again), as I've never sat up front before.

Hi,
I have United Silver status and an Amex Personal platinum credit card, which earns x5 Amex points for direct airline ticket purchase and Amex Travel portal.
I'm planning to book a United international flight using the Amex platinum card (not award ticket or amex points).
The ticket price (~$1900) is same between United Airline website and Amex Travel portal.
I think I will earn the same amount of Amex points between these two booking methods.
Both offer free within 24 hr cancelation.
Between these two booking methods, is there any pros and cons for each of them?
I am wondering which way to use. Will I get same United milage points and PQM for a status?

Pros of booking direct with United: you can deal with any changes directly with United without having to contact your travel agent. Pros of booking with Amex: ???
If the price is the same, the earnings should be also.
