  • Trans-Pacific flights (except to/from Guam)
  • South American flights to Brazil, Argentina, and Chile only.
Don't forget to post the date and route information along with the meal information!

Have opened a thread for Discussion of the Quality of UA's In-Flight Meals , so this thread can return to its resource role as a cataloging and reference thread. Many have used the Let's Eat threads to get an idea of what might be served on future flights. We can use the new thread for a more in-depth discussion of the state of UA's in-flight meals generally.

EWR-LHR
UA934 / 27 DEC 2019
Boeing 7767-300 (High J)
Meal: Breakfast, ??

Skipped the main breakfast service and opted for a snack later in the flight (Lobster Mac). Didn't snap a picture, but was very impressed. Right up there with something I'd probably enjoy on the ground, too.

I was surprised, too. The return also had a hot snack available "on demand" (Vegan Chili).

Worth noting that on the outbound to LHR, the Lobster Mac was called out specifically, but the return menu (01/20) said to "ask your flight attendant for today's selection"

Early morning "brunch" TATL flights (westbound and EWR/IAD-LHR departing before 10am, IIRC) have hot bites loaded, since most of the menu consists of breakfast items. Sometimes, I'll ask for the hot bites to be served as my main, and FAs usually oblige.

Elysian Space Dust IPA?

ZRH catering is still my favorite ex-EU.

Except for UA71, which is a breakfast flight and has a different menu.

Since UA71 is the only AMS-EWR flight, looks like this is what you get, despite 9:15am departure. My flight departed 10:20am. Enjoy.

100% ... always better. The ZRH LSG Sky Chefs operation is actually a joint venture with a local Swiss catering company, and I think that (with Swiss quality control) impacts this a lot.
