LAX-EWR UA415
Boeing 777-200
Date: 1/10/20
Class: Economy Plus
Meal: Snack

This was the later flight that leaves at 11:15 pm so no hot meal in E+ but rather just a cold meal. Still a nice offering, Choice was between Beef with soba noodle or Vegetable cous cous and I chose the former.

Everything was actually quite nice it was a light and enjoyable meal to have before (trying to) sleep.

BOS-SFO Economy Plus dinner meal. Ran out of chicken and rice by my row. Vegetarian pasta dish. Three drink services. Snack and Kind bar offered.

EWR - LAX

B787-10
Premium Plus

Options were same as Economy Plus - General Tso's chicken or pasta, with cut fruit and brownie.

Isn't that basically the smaller version of same beef noodle salad in Business/First? Which is delicious, by the way.

Had the same thing last September and doubt we both caught it in rotation, more like it never rotated out.

Domestic PP is same food as economy though, unless you have more info we don't know about

I am pretty sure you are supposed to get ice cream after your first PP meal. Next time, ask a FA to bring you some from Y.

The cookie plus ice cream is the best of both worlds!

Last Thursday’s “Everything bun burger” in coach far better than the pile of mush called “rancho huervos” in First this past Tuesday. At least I got 3 hours sleep.

Has United given up on the Choice Menu?

Previously, it was refreshed every month or every other month - but it seems like they've had the same options for quite a few months now. I was hoping March 1 would bring some new options, but no updates at https://www.united.com/ual/en/us/fly...nomy/menu.html.

Anything new in Hemispheres by chance? I am not traveling again until later in the month, so can't check ...

I would accept no change if they'd just bring the lettuce, tomato and pickle back for the burger.

Same Orzo from PS week before

LHR-IAD
Chicken Korma, pretty good and tasty + "real" ice cream, no more sorbets (hurrah)

Pile of pepper was from me, not catering.
