I think they're a/b testing with it.

I got it on one computer, then I didn't get it on another.

+1 for award booking. That would be the most likely use case for me.

  • Adding award booking
    • We’re looking into this now and will consider adding this sooner based on your feedback.
  • A/B Testing
    • Yes, we’re A/B testing a few options to understand what works best for our customers. We would love any and all feedback.
  • Can you search for anything excluding Basic Economy?
    • We’re looking into this now and will consider adding this sooner based on your feedback
  • FYI, this is now linked on the regular United homepage search tool.
    • This is one of the many options we’re trying. We’re testing to ensure wherever we put this new functionality that it provides the most value to our customers.

Having found UA flights on Google that couldn’t be found on ua.com, but Google would let you book on ua.com, why would anyone use ua.com except for MP tix? Google site much more user friendly too!

MapSearch- New website feature
 
Saw "Map Search" on the website this morning. You input your departure airport and it shows you fares to various cities on a map. Kayak had this a while ago. Found it cool for exploring vacation spots.

Defaults to my home airport OGG (Maui). Looks like "Southwest Effect" is providing good r.t. fares to LAS, SFO, SAN.

Just noticed this pop up on the home page. Haven't played around with it much yet, but could be helpful if it works well.
Anyone else seeing it or have any feedback on it yet?
