Tapas no mas? (Not available on flights currently)

Tried to order the tapas box today, but I was told it has been temporarily discontinued. Anyone know anything about it?

Tapas no mas? (Not available on flights currently)

Forgot to ask about this last week when I was told tapas boxes had been removed from flights. The two FAs I've asked have just said they were pulled and no ETA on when they'll be back. They both lamented their removal since it's a very popular item. Anyone know more details? I love the Tapas box.

Damn. Best one by far, with all the bread/crackers and dippers.

Tapas is also my go-to when stuck in coach. My DEN-LGA flight this week was the first to announce that the box was out of stock. However, all my other flights (including that day and the 10 or so in the two weeks prior) all had the tapas box when I ordered it and/or made no announcement it wasn't available. I figured it was just a stock issue out of Denver. Maybe not?

This is unfortunate. I tried to get one last week DEN-MCO and they just said they didn't have any. Didn't mention that it was a bigger issue.

I wonder if there is an issue with the contents? That wouldn't be the first time a product like processed hummus was recalled for contamination or something else.

Anecdotally, the Tapas box seems to be the most popular, so I couldn't imagine UA just cutting it without a replacement.

I actually liked the original Classic box better than the Tapas. They changed the contents of the classic, and I hate it. I wish they would bring that one back.

Horrible news. My go to box on my snack flights. It wasn't available last week for me either on ORD-DEN, and now I know why.

FA told me Tuesday night that the Tapas were pulled because the hummus was/is bad.

The hummus was a weird consistency Nov 4 LAS-EWR, but I had it. Wasn't sick. Although I might be now...

Hopefully back soon

Now can they pull the hummus from the UCs and rotate something different? Hummus in the club, in the tapas box, in the mezze meal, enough already.

Just asked for one on Sunday and was simply told they were "sold out". Sorry to hear they are being phased out. It was my go to meal.
