That's not guidance, that's the minimum required policy. While the same policy is required of all airlines, Delta allows 24 hours (more, actually, up to midnight the day after ticket purchase) on sales of tickets within one week.

Please do...I am still scouring my office for mine, bought after Continental bankruptcy in the 80s.

That is true, BUT I recall the T and C from the Lifetime offer in the 80s did not have the language that allowed such changes, and that's why they surrendered in the face of legal demands when they began to charge Lifetimes for alcohol, and sent us a special black cards that continued that right.

Nobody has contacted an attorney yet - I can't imagine this would be a lengthy call. I even provided a law firm and named partner who had a successful class action against US Air/American not that long ago.

Interesting that you can't get their attention - you may have to find another firm.

So this thread started in November 2018. It is now December 2019. At this rate half the people on the signup list will have kicked the bucket before any meaningful results happen.

As a thirty-something lifetime United Club member I take firm umbrage with this statement. I know half a dozen other lifetime members under 40. With average life expectancy at over 80...do you think it will take half a century for a resolution?

I am a Continental Presidents club lifetime gone United Club Lifetime. Both my parents are United Red Carpet lifetime from the 70's, so sign me +2 up for the class action or whatever legal recourse we have happy to help in any way I can.

If they want to reduce the crowds then they need to stop giving two onetime passes to every beating heart that signs up for their credit cards... They need to limit sales of passes to elite members (their most frequent flyers) and stop giving anyone access. Over the years I have been disappointed in how many people are in these clubs and the messes they make in them.

No but if the decision stands there's a good chance there will be whining for 50 years.

I've got to think, the longer you wait, the more it diminishes any potential case.
