Travel Waiver: Tropical Storm Hagibis (October 7, 2019 - October 8, 2019)

The Japanese Meterology Association is predicting the cyclone will hit between the 13th and 14th of October. Hence I suspect UA will open rebooking starting tomorrow the 10th of October once the cyclones patch is better understood.

I would be curious to learn whether the rebooking will include options on JV partners like NH. In any event UA should be in a solid position to support rebooking for this weather event.

Technically it's a Typhoon since it's not located in the South Pacific or Indian Ocean...

Waiver now extended to October 11-13, 2019 and now covers:
  • Fukuoka, JP (FUK)​
  • Nagoya, JP (NGO)​
  • Osaka, JP (KIX)​
  • Tokyo-Haneda, JP (HND)​
  • Tokyo-Narita, JP (NRT)

Also, waiver is coded as 2 in Jetstream.
