First of all I just booked three trips so I am very angry. BUT!!! my Mileplay is 4 trips @ 225 for 4,600 miles. Come on, United. Honey no.
I have two in mind to book but I don't know if I will be able to take another 2 in the timeframe given I have vacation in these months.

So far, I've only been eligible for one of these. I wonder how they select who is eligible and who is not.
Thanks for your interest.
Unfortunately, the account number you entered is not eligible for this offer. Please visit united.com to view your account details, book flights, and explore all the ways to earn and use miles.

I'm going to LA anyway. Just looked at November fares and I see I'll have to pay a little over the lowest possible fare — maybe $60 or so. I'm pretty sure miles are still worth more than $0.75, even after the devaluation.
[EDIT] Whoops, I forgot a little detail in Google Flights. Looking at United flights only, I only have to overpay compared to other airlines. Why do we do this again?
