To find your PQDs if >than $12K
Go to
MileagePlus activity since my last statement and it is in the "Account summary" table at the top of the page.
Note this is not just the UA operated PQDs (which is commonly believed to be what matters for GS) but rather your total PQDs.
Definitions
BIS is actual scheduled flight distance (Great Circle Mileage Distance -- GCM) between airports with 500 mile minimum for elites. This is the standard used for Lifetime miles also. Those flying mostly sub-500 segments sometimes prefer to not use the minimum rule.
The definition for CPM is a bit vaguer, especially since CPM is used in multiple different situations.
Believe for the purpose of this thread, GS qualification, folks are using
PQD CPM = UA PQDs / UA BIS
Note there is no direct evidence UA uses this CPM number for GS Qualification but it is a number FTers like to use.
As for BIS, UA does not report this number your account and it needs to be manually tracked.
One way is to make use that PQMs are based on BIS but there may be a multiplier / bonus for high end fares. If always in 2x PQMs, you could divide by 2 to get BIS.

Well you definitely don’t meet the theorized $100K trailing total but do barely exceed the $50 K threshold for this year. I’d say you are in the “likely to probably” category.

If not this year, definitely next. Already 30k UQ PQD booked in Q1 of 2020.

I know two folks who dropped from GS to 1K for 2019; they had plenty of PQD (in the 20-30k range) but short on miles. Email from United indicating the courtesy 1K status, complete with associated instrument deposits.

Not sure how I am going to do this year, I should finish about the following:
$36,500, but only about 80k in miles flown and barely 60 segments. I am hoping that they really weigh the cost of all my tickets this year. I was at about $38k last year and re-qualified with about 130 segments and 120k miles. I've been GS now for 5 years.
Any thoughts?

Just landed in Houston from SYD, one more leg to CMH to finish the trip:
PQD: $73,485
PQS: 104
I have about $1,000 more in UA travel to go this year. Hoping to requalify in the first wave this year.

Barring unexpected travel, will end 2019 at 63,295 on 016 stock, 59,247 on UA metal. That's down from over 100K on UA metal in both 2017 and 2018, but I'm hoping I'll make it since I'm still well over 50K and with a good recent and long-term history (10+ consecutive years as GS).

“Trailing three year trend” has replaced “cpm” as a qualifying metric, correct? And specualtion as to the date of first requalifications? Der Tag?
