It's reminiscent of what DL offered me ~2 years ago when I was moved over to them after a UA irrop. What they had was awesome (4-5 small desserts like mini cheesecakes and pecan pies to chose from, along with a sundae)...Here's hoping the UA offering is as good!

Thanks. Looks like the pre-plated kind. Too bad.

Yea I'm pretty sure UA wanted to generate some buzz.

The debut is almost three months away. At this point, I guess I would have gone with professionally done photos/marketing on social media as opposed to employee photos from smart phones. That said, service does look like a genuine step in the right direction.

Would have never gotten the same level of buzz.

Looks like they brought a professional video crew on board based on some other tweets so will prob show up somewhere in the UA PR apparatus.

I'd say that the food looks like a step in the right direction... but the jury is out on the service until it is actually rolled out to paying customers. And then, only if improved and consistent will I be impressed.

Currently United BF and GF passengers travelling between U.S. and Japan can order Japanese Meal in advance. Will passengers still have this option after the introduction of United Polaris on Dec. 1, 2016 ?

I think UA needs to do one better by allowing all Polaris customers order in advance online. 2-3 years ago they said they were working on it. Anyone know the status?

Exactly. If AA can do it for front cabin passengers, why can't UA?

Or DL, AS or any other airline?

I'm just happy to see they changed the table cloth. The current looks so old/dirty/faded. Such a small thing to change to make it look so much nicer.

^ I've been getting the napkin with a button hole as a table cloth on PS lately. This would be an improvement.
