UPGRADE FAILED message during buy-up process

UPGRADE FAILED message during buy-up process

So I'm in my rezzie and united.com is offering a reasonably priced upgrade.

I go through the process and payment and get the message "Upgrade Failed" and a number to call UA.com support blah blah. Been trying all day with same result.

It's for 3 pax in the same reservation.

I found some much older threads on this but nothing more recent.

Any light on what could be going on?

what did they say? seems that calling would be more fruitful than trying again and again with the same result all day..

If you want to sit in an upgraded seat, call. I had this happen for a EWR-EDI flight and for sure I did not wait (especially since I had an awful seat in Economy+). I called the web support number listed and the upgrade was processed in less than 10 minutes.

Thanks folks. First two replies stated the glaring obvious that I had overlooked. So I called and they got it all taken care of. And stuckinTH confirmed my obvious oversight.

So all is well. Upgrades confirmed. Thanks for helping me see the forest for the tree.
