SFO to PVR: where do I check in?
Flying UA SFO to PVR on Sunday at 9am. Technically international, but it seems narrowbody Mexico flights tend to actually depart out of T3.
Am I required to check in at either the International terminal or the actual departure terminal (whichever it may be)?
If either is allowed, would either one be a meaningfully better experience at 7ish AM on a Sunday? I’m just getting dropped at the curb, have pre-check but no status.

Check to see if the gate number is listed in the flight status section of the app. If it’s domestic, then enter there. No problem checking in either way. The two terminals are connected airside so it is possible to walk between them after security if need be.
International security might be quicker at that time and it’s only a short walk to the Centurion lounge on the domestic side if you have access.

Just flew to Cabo a month ago. Departed out of Domestic. Last trip to PVR a couple of years ago departed out of International.
As suggested, just check the app before you get close to the airport for assigned gate, and go to the appropriate Terminal.
