I've been privy to many, many "Gugu", "Gaga", "Mama", "Baba" conversations!

Not in the International First Lounge, at least not with "fashion jeans" that had ripped knees. I've been at the entry desk when they've turned people away. They don't scoff and say "get out of here," mind you, they simply remind them of the dress code requirements and invite them to visit the Qantas Club lounge instead.

Reading the rules there appears to be no issue with jeans but " torn clothing " is not allowed.

I think a very small percentage of FC pax are wearing what you call "Fashion Jeans" -- it's not 1985 anymore.
Sorry if you think I'm confrontational, but I'm sick of nonsense posted as fact. There are people reading this who would have actually have believed you.
Why do it?
Nothing Comes Between Me And My Calvins - except maybe the lounge attendants.

Sharing this live from the UC at DFW. Dude is sitting in his chair with his feet on it, shoes off. UC agent walks over and tells him that it’s not ok to put your feet on the chair. He smiles like a total moron, waits until she walks away, and then puts the feet back up.

Unbelievable.

Just to be clear, the $30 jeans I buy at Old Navy ARE or ARE NOT fashion jeans?

But if I buy them with the holes already in them, then they cost $600.

And then you can't go to the Qantas lounge. It's a funny world!

In typical "fashion", that cycle is up, and the ripped jeans have made a comeback, sadly.
