Not a MAX. Seems to be 737-800.

Indeed! Rush Hour 2 debuted aboard a United 747-400 flying LAX-HKG! You can spot real United employees and a real United 747 in the film too! I know one, and Jackie and Chris were amazing guys to everyone on “set”

“On Thursday, July 26, United's flight from Los Angeles to Hong Kong will be re-christened "The Rush Hour Express" and the 747-400 that carries passengers between the two cities will be repainted with special signage promoting the film.”

And yes, United 747, tulips everywhere, RCCs, and Catherine Zeta Jones in UAL uniform still makes me happy to this day.

Should’ve done it before the last movie ruined the series

There’s no way ANA would have a 737 of any variety at ORD. That’s a 777. From the tail number it’s a 777-300 that entered their fleet in June 2010.

Star Wars Picture at O'Hare

I saw on the local Chicago news that the Chicago Police Department filmed a safety/welcome video for the Star Wars gathering this weekend in Chicago.

From yesterday's employee newsletter:
"Fans at Star Wars Celebration in Chicago today got the first look at a new United livery, inspired by the Star Wars films, that will appear on one of our Boeing 737-800s this fall, in time for the upcoming release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker."

So, seems like that's a legit 737 livery that'll be flying.

Ha! I flew on that plane. One of the flight attendants was holding a Yoda doll while we were boarding and they were playing stars music on the intercom. Wasn't sure ... was going on.

I was wondering about that United/Star Wars tweet. I thought it had something to do with the Death Star FT posters refer to regarding the globe livery.

The UA Star Wars 738 is especially unique because it is different on each side. I guess seats DEF are the "dark side."
