It depends upon the reason for the fare difference. If it was due to a minimum stay requirement, then, yes, seems like a prohibited form of nested ticketing. If it was merely due to a fare difference between Dubai and London for zero-advance-purchase fares, then no, it's not a violation provided that he eventually flies to Dubai.

Ya, if UA reintroduced free hard booze in back I missed the memo. ^ for reintroducing free beer and wine a couple of years ago.

Your right. Just looked it up. "Premium Transcontinental" has the free hard booze in E+.

With 1 galley, I imagine the people at the back of the Polaris cabin will get their meals right before landing.

Flew the High J today...service was attentive. While I'm not a frequent UA flyer, service was frequent enough that I never felt I had to wait for anything.

Booking High J (767L)
Tracking the High J configuration for a trip upcoming rt EWR-LHR 6/7/19 to 6/10/19. Not showing up yet but is seems that UA has been slowly switching UA110 (6:00pm EWR-LHR) and UA883 (7:45am LHR-EWR) to the new configuration. Anyone that has flown this new config - I’m wondering what the chances are to move into the PE seat 24hrs before the flight (UA Silver)? If I understand correctly these are currently just considered “normal E+” seats until they start actually selling them as PE?

Regarding your chances of an upgrade, judging by how fast E+ rows 20-22 fill up on domestic widebodies (the seat maps with seats blocked off in case of an equipment swap to Polaris/PP), your chances are pretty slim.

Yes, but not the EWR-LHR route yet. So these seats are still being assigned as E+.

The 4 evening EWR-LHR flights are now showing the 76L through the end of the schedule (morning EWR-LHR and 4pm LHR-EWR still show 76C). Later in July, the 9:15pm ORD-LHR and 2:50pm LHR-ORD go to 76L. So, for now, it would appear that 1 76L is being used as a floating spare to cover 4 daily EWR-LHR turns. The 6th unit will go to ORD-LHR-ORD (938/959) with one spare.
For a reseating datapoint, I was in 16K on a 76C (bulkhead aisle in old configuration) and when the schedule update pushed over the weekend, I was assigned 31K, substantially the same seat. The entire PP cabin was empty, so I moved to 21F in Premium Plus before the seatmap was locked out.
With 17 763s getting the 76L treatment, I would expect all of EWR/ORD/IAD-LHR to get 76L, and possibly IAH, to go with others, like ZRH or GVA.

On my most recent TATL in E-, I asked for a G&T, and I got one. Wasn't asked to pay. (Obviously YMMV )

My late August 763 ORD-LHR got swapped to the 76L. Was surprised this far out - but happy to have Polaris confirmed. Makes sense given the above confirmed rotations.

How to track 76L route assignments?
Glad to find and read this thread today, thanks for the insight on High J. Where do I learn about High J coming to new routes? Somebody mentioned EWR-GVA and I'm looking to fly that Jan 9 or 10, will wait to for award space if that's realistic. Thanks for any tips!
