Who has flown (or will fly) 40 million miles on UA?
Due to a rendering glitch in my web browser, I stumbled upon this lovely file. You too can see it at https://www.united.com/en/us/account - right click your pennant and view the image in full.
Isn't UA's top flyer at "only" 20 million, the next highest account being a distant second? I wonder how much bandwidth could be saved. :) https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1aceca4577.png |
Either their developers told them it would be really hard to add more graphics later and would cost them $$$$, or they are planning to add space flights that earn miles. Or maybe that everyone will be impanted in robotic bodies that never wear out, and they're not willing to pay for a site redesign for another century.

Clearly gaming out how many more miles ua1flyer will complete, way in advance... :) |

I would rather eat ground glass....

This thread can be safely merged to Tom’s own thread! https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unit...up-air-gs.html |
My opinion is that spending 1/3 of one's life on a plane is not a great way to live.

This is the correct graph that UA should use.

I'm surprised there's no chairman's circle badge. Maybe that's what UA should make the 5 million mile goal.
