Anytime I can hear the SFO-bound aircraft coming in low over Oakland, it's a bad sign, and it was pretty constant from late yesterday afternoon through the evening.

One of them was UA560 from IAD which immediately diverted to SJC before even attempting another landing. After two hours on the ground they finally made it to SFO.
Here's UA560:

Here's the SJC-SFO segment. You can see the approach over east Oakland, looks like they landed on 19L:

No Hotel, No compensation. All flights for the day was gone.

Apparently, a hail storm just passed over the area. It will be interesting to see the impact.

Which area? SFO? LAX? Today (02/04/19 PST) or back on February 1/2?

SFO. I heard from a colleague who lives near the airport in South San Francisco. He was excited, because when he went outside it looked like snow. He doesn’t recall ever seeing anything like that before. It was a sprinkling. However, it will likely melt very quickly. I wonder do they even have deicers at SFO.

It should be clear for the rest of the day; I wouldn't expect much disruption to ops.

I landed last night (Monday) from Orlando at SFO about 9pm - was raining but nothing terrible, landing uneventful, winds were fine - but it was very cold. When I got to the hotel, the lead story was snow at 1000' and the hills were getting coated with snow.

Today - Tuesday, not a cloud in the sky at the Aloft SFO - off to HNL at 4:35 to warmer days.

Operations given the very clear skies should be back to normal.
