"Requested fare class not available" (but shows W9 in flight details)
I'm trying to book roundtrip EWR to TPE flying 4/15 to 4/29. In advanced search I selected "W" class fare so that I can apply a GPU. On all search results I get "requested fare class unavailable" However, when I look at the details for the individual flights, in particular the EWR-SFO-TPE routing, it shows "W9" in availability. Actually the plane to TPE is basically empty at this point according the the seat map and full availability in every fare class. If I select "V" or "Q" the search comes back with availability.
Any idea what is going on? It's been like this for a few days now.

Does UA publish a W fare for the route on your dates? If so, does your itinerary meet the fare requirements?

Fare Class has Inventory - Not Able to Book into?

That's extremely odd. Don't know what's up with it. I was only able to reproduce when I accidentally searched for corporate fares.

(The answer to the fares question is yes and yes. It prices on ITA and also on ua.com in W if you search for 'W, V, Q'.)

Last week there was "W" class availability on all the flight to TPE for these dates

Just for future reference, the best practice when searching for GPU-able fares is to search "Y, B, M, E, U, H, Q, V, W" This search will return the lowest price GPU eligible fare.

I'm unable to reproduce as well, "Requested Fare Class" is populated with W fares when I do this search. Would've been an interesting case to debug otherwise.

I have had this issue when searching P fares. Shows none available, but P9 in expert mode.

This is what I get when I only select "W" fare in the advanced search. Searching EWR-TPE 4/12 to 4/22. I was able to get the desired results when I followed Kacee's advice to enter multiple fare classes. I've tried multiple browsers.

None of the flights in your screenshot actually have W available on 4/12 when you search the entire route (EWR-SFO-TPE taking into account married segment availability).

I based my search on the first post which mentioned dates 4/15 to 4/29.

In the screenshot above, you say you used dates 4/12 to 4/22, which indeed don't have W inventory (as Sykes already pointed out), but the screenshot seems to be for a different date?
