EF shows all seven GF seats blocked, and not a single seat in any class as "occupied". Maybe they're still reassigning seats, as this flight isn't until mid-April. The suspense continues, at least for me.
Still no change for my April flight. In sum:

Web: no seat assigned, all 40 J seats available for selection, F not available for selection
App: 2A still "assigned" both in booking page and when viewing seat map, other F not available for selection, all J seats available for selection
EF: all F seats blocked, all J (and Y) seats available

My seats have not reverted to the pre-snafu allocation. They remain the new seats I selected during the time when the maps were restored but all the seat allocations had disappeared.

If it were me I would call them.

Call and ask for what? 2A on the basis of "I'd like my originally assigned seat back"? Or just clarification of what's going on, period?

LOL Glad I am not the only one.
Was wondering to myself how often I should be checking these and for how long....

So far, about 3 times a day.

Might be easier on the body and soul to use an EF alert

EF is so slow though - checking FT got me a 3-hour headstart on my EF alerts when the blank seatmaps came online

I am T minus 60 and my "poached" seat assignment of 1K while the seat maps were briefly available is holding steady. I'm checking every few hours, because, what else would get me through the day???? Plus, I want my 1K seat assignment to match the 1K on my boarding pass, I have never had that joy.

Hilarious!!

You are not alone in such an operation.

However, *I* may be alone in not being able to get Snoop Dogg's "Drop It Like It's Hot" out of my head reading your Watchitlikeahawk.

When UA's IT fails you.....watchitlikeahawk,watchitlikeahawk, watchitlikeahawk
When PZ may be available to you....watchitlikeahawk,watchitlikeahawk, watchitlikeahawk
When seatmap shows GF open for you...watchitlikeahawk,watchitlikeahawk, watchitlikeahawk
I've got the Rolly on my arm and UA FAs are pourin' Chandon,
Cause I'm sitting in 1A, and I got it going on....

(with apologies to Snoop D O double g)

After losing a GF seat in this weekend’s IT upgrade the plane just flipped to a Polaris converted 777-200. So there’s that.

I check every 3 hours. It’s the last thing I do before I go to bed and put my phone under my pillow in case of an EF alert, I check if I wake up to go to the bathroom, and it’s the first thing I do when I open my eyes in the morning.
Only 5 more weeks to go!
