No -- I think it's the other way around. SQ/TG are likely a symptom; they're not the cause.

So maybe SQ availability will not return until they introduce dynamic award pricing for partners? And then maybe SQ awards will require double the miles than the Chinese partners?

It's a possibility, but SQ cash tickets don't cost twice what their competition charges, so can't imagine their award tickets will be twice as much either.

since UA simply copies DL ... unlikely.

It would also be extraordinarily difficult to implement this with partner airlines and UA's IT can barely handle regular UA operations ... so I think we'll continue to see partner awards at current levels.

Something funny going on with TG F/C awards ex Australia. Can't see anything available at all from Aug onwards. You've got to love UA...

Seems that all TG F/J award of long haul flights are gone after July 2019.
None is available like LHR,FRA,SYD,TYO.
While regional J is still available like ICN,SIN,HKG,PEK.

Same with AC. Seems to be a TG issue.

This is not a Mileage Plus issue...other *A programs are showing the same lack of availability ex Australia...ex BKK to Australia is OK.

Yes, got that. It was just my frustration with UA at the moment that was coming out before I counted to three... Sorry.

It seems that now UA is now not showing availability of NH flights as well. Same NH flights can be booked using NH, TG or Lifemiles.

I'm looking on EF and I see zero space on any TG flights, for 2 in biz on any dates. I'm trying a week from now, September (when I want to book) and 355 days, NOTHING.

What happened this weekend!?!
Just update for anyone interested, I found space on Singapore Biz SIN-SYD // AKL-SYD and just tweaked our itinerary so it ended up working out and I didn't need Thai anyways.
