Amazon is a frugal company they ain't paying for J. As for the OP question, the way a lot of UA's pricing is, F isn't prohibitively more than Y, so just buy up if you really want F.

Is PDX considered a UA hub? Domestically I have been buying all P fares (or Z when there is no P inventory) when flying to SFO. Then again, I am not traveling a whole lot. Should be changing this year though.

I hope the Guamanians don't feel disrespected by being omitted from UA's list of domestic hubs. They are US citizens by birth, and I recall reading that UA was going to increase capacity to GUM.

Update: Out of idle curiosity while awaiting my snack box today, I peeked in the Hemispheres magazine's route map, and GUM is still listed as a hub.
