Saw a bit more inventory around these dates if anyone else needs summer travel plans to Europe. Tried to book w/confirmed upgrades from SFO to any city in Europe but no luck so flying from ORD instead.

Pretty pleased with this one. C fares IAH-CDG Feb 13-17 were crazy expensive. Started poking around for PN. Couldn't get a round-trip but was able to get IAH-LHR / CDG-ORD-IAH to clear at booking today for a total cost of less than $1,900 (compared to $11K+ for paid C). Just need to buy a one-way LHR-CDG on AF or BA (or take the Eurostar).

After being burnt before travelling on a Monday, I decided to accept the one day that UA was offering me. Clearly upgrade availability has changed in the last few months.
