This might explain why some of the 757-200s have been removed from the EWR-SAN route.

If four pax were facing downgrade or reaccomodation then there were LX to ZRH (77W) and LH to MUC (A380) flying later. Not Polaris but better (LX) or comparable (LH) to the 789 thst was subbed out. So hopefully they ended up okay.

Were they on EWRSAN last summer? I can’t remember... but even still it’s generally been a wintertime thing, along with LAS, SEA, PHX, etc.

Sounds like normal aircraft reassignment to me. Happens all the time throughout the network.

in the summer schedule, BOS-LAX flying (which is exclusively 752) has been reduced to twice daily. it was 3x last summer.

The article had neglected the fact that this is not the first time UA is doing premium heavy configs even before PS. PMUA had done premium heavy in the fleets that were 744 OP and 742 YR in the mid 90s.

The seat map wasn’t available on .com for the test hop. And the exit on 1/27 to EWR was canceled (before the test hop). Fingers crossed it’s Polaris/P+, and that another ship follows it into HKG. That woukd confirm 8 mod lines (4x 772 at XMN, 3x 763 and 1x 772 at HKG).
