Is this new: flights.united.com

New [to me] site on united.com: https://flights.united.com/en-us/
Maybe solely made for appearance in search engines?

Changing URL can yield some interesting "deals":
https://flights.united.com/en-us/flights-to-switzerland
(substitute "switzerland" to desired destination yields various results with multiple origin options.)
Not sure [yet] how to force J instead of Y though....

And not exactly sure of its usefulness, as it's likely to be less usable/helpful than google.com/flights, but interesting nevertheless.

Added:
Just as an example: easily found DFW-ZRH as DFW-YYZ-ZRH with 7+ hours at YYZ and in Basic Economy.....but for $336 r/t!
Horrible...but CHEAP!
I simply can't recall united.com offering/allowing this easy kind of "deal search" before..

Thanks for sharing! I have not seen it before.

IIRC, PMUA had something similar on its website.

This is also quite simiar to what SQ sends out to its members via email and also on its website based on registered location of Krisflyer and PPS member.

I am not sure how useful it is to business flyers but may be useful to flyers looking for deals for a get away trip.

Wish there was a way to search J fares. You can also adjust the url to search from some place. For example: https://flights.united.com/en-us/flights-from-zurich

This is an awesome tool! It's very unique to be able to search for the cheapest origin based upon a destination. Time to start looking at prepositioning flights!

Yep, there was the last minute deals page that updated each Monday or Tuesday with weekend deals usually from hubs for the next weekend. Stuck around a little after the merger but haven't seen it in a while.

Yes, and these emails used to include IAD and DEN as hubs with "deals," too. Kind of interesting that now the only hubs listed are EWR, ORD, IAH and SFO.

Even CLE was included!

More interestingly... I have a feeling the speed at which you can enter data on this site is how the regular united.com is supposed to work...but it doesn't.

This site allows you to type the three letter airport code and tab to the next field immediately and with ease. That still is broken on united.com (the speed, not the technical ability).

I wish they had a way to not show Basic Economy. Even though sometimes the price differential is huge (seems true on routes served by ULCC), no seat selection and no/50% PQM is a deal breaker for me.
