77W seatmap changes

Got booted from from my window seat 22L today and moved back to a middle seat in E+ Suggested to force through a waitlisted GPU as remedy to no avail ...

Is this the new Premium Plus configuration? Row 19 is gone.

Yes. You can tell because it's 2-4-2 in the first three rows of Y.

Looks like a swap to a 77W with PE from a non-PE configuration.

This happened to me HKG-SFO last week but I was able to select a PE seat.

Good for you. OPs flight shows PE full. This would be worth a seat alert, in case OP peruses EF.

In fact, this would be worth checking the seatmap obsessively from now until departure.

Thanks all. I'm guessing the algorithm picked the short straw for me; booting me backwards into E+. Or, perhaps everyone in row 19-22 got reassigned.

Do we have any evidence to suggest that 1K/GS are proactively getting auto-reassigned to the PE seats, or is it just some terrible form of random?

Why wouldn't they just label those three rows as 20, 21, 22 and keep it consistent with the row numbers for PE equipped planes?

Just changed my seat selection from row 19 to row 20 on 77W (NRT-EWR) for travel in early March.
