Let's use this thread to report actual delivery of the packets and comments about the kit contents.
Please no "nothing yet" posts , at least until we get to 31 Jan 2019, when that may mean there is an issue. UA just states you should get the kit in January.

In the past, UA has used mystatus.united.com to report shipment status of the kits.
Not confirmed yet, the link on mystatus.united.com for requesting luggage tags suggests there may be no physical Silver or Gold membership kits for 2019. Appears confirmed no Gold / Silver cards are requestable
Also new this year is the "welcome letter" on mystatus.united.com

New York was part of the 2018 coasters set.

35 drink coupons is a lot, especially since they give one free drink to 1Ks flying in Economy on flights that have drink service. I still have 8 from last year (and I gave some to a colleague). This year my wife also became 1K so we have 20 new drink coupons.

No kidding. In 2018 I had 28 segments in Economy. That's 2.25 drinks per segment. One should probably think of this as free booze for 1Ks, with a fig leaf of portion control.

Maybe you qualified for 1K really early in 2018 so they gave you the 2018 coasters. With your travel pattern, any chance you can qualify for GS?

DTW -- good catch, that's a clear exception
LAX -- what's the point when a UC member already has access to what might be UA's best lounge in N. America? The *A lounge in TBIT is nowhere near any UA departure gate.

At SFO yesterday, I gave my last 2018 coupons to some passengers who were waiting to board their delayed flight to ORD last night. Once they decided I wasn't selling 'em something, they were very appreciative.

I find it slightly annoying the 1K Premier benefit pamphlet does not mention free food and booze items in coach. The paranoid cell in my brain wonders if it's going away sometime (even beyond not catering enough BoB items sometimes).

Yes, the only thing the companion gets is the status.
No chits, no certs and no luggage tags of their own.

My Platinum package status indicated that it was processed on January 11. Not here yet.

Has anyone's "Online Card" been updated to reflect the new 1/31/2020 expiration date?

On the web and mobile app I'm still seeing through 1/31/2019 (or 1/2019); mystatus shows the kit shipped ~ 1/11/19.

OK managed to log in from NZ through VPN.

It says I can request luggage tags so I clicked that.

But in the United app. on my iPhone, the digital card still shows through 1/19.

Will that automatically refresh in February?

I'm Premier Gold.
