I would not forget to tell my friend the best seat in that plane.

Whenever someone tells you where they are traveling to the first thing that comes to mind and you end up responding is how you like the airport there

I was flying to London and had a random passenger next to me. We chatted.

On the return flight a week later I had picked the same seat. Who rocks up to take the seat next to me? Same guy as on thebout ound flight! We both had to laugh. What are the odds?

when UA changes the flight number on a route you've flown for years and it bothers you.... for months, if not years (UA14/15 for me; if UA444 is ever changed, i'll have to seek therapy).

1. when you refer to cities (including the one you live in) primarily by their airport codes.

2. you think about flight timing at the end of December or early January in terms of max benefit for 1K qualification.

You check seat maps hourly.

You can recite all your flights and pqm qualifications for next year.

When someone says they are traveling, you ask "what airline?" instead of "where are you going?"

...when your spouse says “you again?”
...when you know more about the new seating configuration than the FA.
...when FA recognizes you AND remembers your drink preference.

The song TenTwentyTen recently came up on one of my Spotify radio stations, and I kept waiting to hear The MileagePlus Explorer Card. Imagine where itll take you.

THIS.

So, Mike2k, where do you live?

MCO.

Where?

Oh, right, Orlando.

(Y Class). You keep having chicken or pasta for dinner at home...kind of forgetting about beef or pork.

(C Class). You start putting down linen napkins at home anytime you eat something because it feels 'classy.'

(Any class). When you don't leave on a trip without knowing best alternative flights in case of IRROPS at each stop along the way.

The first thing I ask is about the airline they are flying with an educated guess based who's hub it is.

When your boss tells you that her daughter flew on Delta from IAD-LAX, and you correct her and tell her that she flew on United. (And then she emails you and says "You're right! It was United.")
