Oh no! I am currently booked in 20A on 773 and this was my concern. Would it be worth moving to 21A instead?

Same question but for the 777-200.

I'm curious, which carriers do you have in mind? Because I think the food looks just as good as PE on Singapore and better than on BA, Virgin or Lufthansa.

And there is greater positioning flexible of the BH screen vs the seatback screen.
I would not hesitate to sit in BH or non-BH rows -- there are minor plus/minuses to both.

Definitely prefer the pull off foil. Keeps the food hotter for longer, more sanitary, and its a nice surface for me to warm up my bread further.
It looks a lot like a domestic F meal service, which is a lot more than I was expecting!

SQ‘s PE meal is similar to what CX does for PEY, same Y meal in plastics but just with different choices, neither are good for PE comparison

Agree this is probably the least well-done part of the package
However, aren't the lavs just behind the PP section on the 773?
On the 772, the lavs are about 10 rows of economy behind PP section (at the back of the wings, not eh back of the aircraft)
On the 787-10 (which I have done a few times domestic), the FAs have closed the curtain cutting off the business class lav you can see and the lav are about 10 rows of economy behind PP section

it’s not the end of the world but it is a detracting element of an otherwise upscale presentation that could seemingly be easily rectified . But I agree that the FA reductions are probably the reason for this .

So you are simply ignoring the carriers with worse PE meals in your comparison.

SQ PY meal isn’t that great actually, since it’s just a Y meal (although book the cook is appreciated). Judging from the pictures it looks like UA is par with AC, a slightly better meal presented well, which I’ve really enjoyed in the past. It’s miles ahead of LH’S PY.
