Check in more than 24 hours before flight
 
From flight status I saw my trip that is scheduled to depart SFO at 10:50 am on 10/25 already have three passengers checked in in business class now, which is 1:15 am 10/24. But I cannot check in yet. Any clue?

They're connecting onto the flight and so were able to check in more than 24 hours before *this* flight because their 1st leg is less than 24 hours away.

+1. Happens a lot at hub airports where many passengers originate from other airports.

Yes, yesterday I checked in for my flights today when my first segment allowed it. It was 28 hours before my second segment leaving from ORD and there were already 64 passengers checked-in.
