First they devalue our miles, now they devalue our colors?

Or maybe add an IDB Indigo, or a VDB violet.

The purple styling of the W cabin is already a stretch for a tasteful colour palette, but the 'pacific blue' is way too far.

This flight is proudly staffed by Continental FAs Coral?

Actually, being a bit of a junkie, I'd like to know the actual Pantone color numbers.

Pacific Blue looks 100% green on the cell phone but sort of aqua on my desktop. You'd think United would have thought to check how the colors display on various screens, but once again we have evidence that attention to detail is not among their strong points.

Pacific Blue sounds like an East Asian low cost carrier. Would be great if "Cebu Pacific" changed its name to reflect growth to Pacific Blue.

Perhaps a lackluster name like that was intentional, given the regional and national sensitivities in that part of the world. Not like, say, Chairman Mao Mauve.

You want United to adjust for gamma and hue differences between your desktop monitor and your cell phone...?

I suppose they could embed a color profile into the image, but they'd still be relying on your hardware being calibrated properly.
