Yes, base fare only, just how PQDs are calculated.

I thought so too.

But, I am confused...it is $850 "per trip" so is it for RT, or does each leg need be $850 ?

Thx

A "trip" (in general terms) is defined as any reservation with its own PNR/Confirmation Number. For the last promo, my offer was "book 2 trips, get X miles". I booked 2 one way tickets and got the miles. ^

No offer as usual

Do Canadians never get any love from UA? Curious as to whether any fellow Canadians here have ever qualified for a mile play promo.

Sounds like I should be glad we do not get these offers. Since ware now leisure flyers we book farther ahead and have everything for the rest of 2018 already booked. 2 RT EWR to LAS, 1 RT EWR to FCO, J and one more one way EWR to LAS. No wonder they don't need us.

I'm confused...why are you glad you don't get the offer? It wouldn't affect you even if you got an offer, right? I guess I just don't see what the downside is to actually receiving an offer.

I'm guessing either a highly complex (although, possibly incorrect) algorithm, or a random number generator, or maybe UA has hired an intern whose sole purpose is to throw darts at a board in order to select everyone's offers!

OK so long as on one PNR in qualifying class on 016 stock with base fare $850 on a RT I am good, correct ?

Any gurus out there that can help me from CLE to X destination ? I fly to CLE this upcoming Monday on a one-way. A MR/quick turn would be ideal.

TIA

My offer is:
Book and take a trip in a premium cabin 3 times (minimum of $450 each) by August 12, 2018 to get 19,000 bonus award miles. That's certainly not going to incentivize me, especially since I've booked my needed flights through September.

Book and take a trip 1 time by August 12, 2018 to get 11,000 bonus award miles (min $275 purchase). Premier Platinum here and I'm scratching my head how I got this one. My last mile play promo was two trips for the same amount for 7,000 miles.

Round-trip or one way...either one works. You just need to book a flight, that's all that matters.

Regarding your dates, I'm not sure what you're looking for. Will you only be in CLE for that one day, July 2? If so, what is the earliest you can fly out again? Or are you looking to fly another day after the 2nd?
