Departure: The airport you are leaving on an international J/F flight* from, i.e. EWR-ORD-NRT
Connecting: The airport to or from which you have a short-haul flight to connect to a longer flight, i.e. EWR-ORD-NRT or NRT-ORD-EWR
Arrival: The airport you arrive at after your long-haul flight, i.e. EWR-ORD-NRT

UA premium cabin flights not marketed as Polaris, such as Domestic First or International Business (Canada, Mexico, Caribbean ... ) are not eligible for Polaris lounge access.

Can either take a 546pm RDU - EWR flight (only booking into Y at the moment) for 3 hours at the Polaris lounge before the 11pm departure to London or we can take the 715pm departure for RDU - EWR (booking into F) that won't arrive until 9pm so it'll only be an hour of drinks before we board the 11pm to LHR.
Is the EWR food good enough to justify the extra time of the 546pm flight or are we better off just eating at home before we head to RDU and just grabbing a drink or two in the Polaris lounge?

Will go with the 715pm departure from RDU and the 11pm departure to LHR (instead of the 10pm which is also being offered) to minimize the risk of misconnect

This past Tuesday got to PL around 6:30pm and no real wait for a table (just to clean & set up one). Service was Goldilocks, not that fast but not too slow. I had the tomato soup, salmon, and strawberry cobbler and all were pretty good. The stuff on the buffet looked dreadful (give me a regular DL SkyClub any day). Lounge was busy but enough open seats. They were doing a better job clearing dishes than I reported about upthread but still a lot around.

And maybe overdoing the point here, but after dedicatedly looking for "graviax" and not accepting redirect, I can only find it as a clear misspelling / transcription error — safeway typo
— and inconsistent usage by idahopotato.com —
So I see that UA aren't the very first to ever make this goof, but I can't see "graviax" as being a valid alternative.

indicates "lax" not "iax".

Regardless of the spelling, I would bet big dollars that what is served at the Polaris Lounge does not look like the plate pictured above.

So UA was not alone as they were with "sobo"
