Looks like they've updated the hot buffet options. They have Five-spiced chicken, Israeli couscous, beef pasta, and grilled veggies.
No changes to a la carte, lame!

I'll be here for in a few weeks around 7pm for dinner...has the dining room menu changed? I remember the pasta, cioppino and a katsu bento box a few months ago.

Had Katsu Bento and crispy shrimp cakes on Sun 10MAR2019. Both were delicious as were their wine pairings, Riesling and rosé. You’re right about pasta and of course Polaris burger on the menu. I thought the service was good as well + extremely fast, like < 5min. Right after my seating, customers were turned away and told it would be a 20-30 minute wait due to full restaurant so beware.

This club is over twice the size of ORD Polaris. Very good experience in bar and showers too. Polaris lounge is one of the highlights of UA’s product, in this 1K’s experience.

Approximately what time was this? Just curious as to what times are the busiest (from those who have experienced such) in the SFO Polaris restaurant. Thanks! The GFL lounge was dead 1-3pm in the past - I was wondering if that carries through to the Polaris lounge. I'll be killing time there next month in the noon-4pm range.

Consider checking out Ben Schlappig's review of the lounge that he posted today. Near the start of that post are links to words and pictures about the buffet and the restaurant.

QUESTION: Flying SQ Business I have used the SFO Polaris lounge on the outgoing, can I use it as an arrival lounge on the SIN to SFO routing in SQ Business Class?

No, you will not be able to use it. It's not an arrivals (or connecting) lounge for passengers flying on Star Alliance metal that is not United. You have to fly United Polaris on the return to the US to use it and in addition you need to have a connecting flight so you can enter in the Terminal.

Nope. One of the downsides to flying a partner vs. UA on the return to SFO.

SFO PL question, mostly about the sit-down restaurant and the food.

I'm flying ORD-SFO-SYD, both departures same calendar day in Aug, all UA metal, Polaris SFO-SYD, so I know I should have PL access in ORD and SFO. Have about a 4hr layover in SFO so far too little time to leave for dinner. 1) is the food decent in the restaurant, and 2) any idea what the customer loads are currently like between about 7PM and 11PM? Obviously that's going to fluctuate, but curious.

None of my return legs are Polaris, so I know no access to PL on the return.
